Used naturally grown raw material as far as possible. Created drawings and etchings as well. Philosopher of a non-academic meditative way of art, formulated the “Transcendental painting” and “The School of pure vision”. Painted from 1917 until 1987. Founder of the Egon von Vietinghoff Foundation in 1989.
His son Alexander became a professional astrologer, and his nephew Joachim became a film producer.
