          Edgar Dacqué's Biography

          German paleontologist and theosophist.
          In 1914 Dacque was appointed as a professor of paleontology at the Ludwig-Maximilians-University of Munich. In this role, he took over the leadership of the Paleontological Collection of the Bavarian state.
          His most important contribution is the extension of the theory of evolution by Charles Darwin to aspects of metaphysics
          Dacqué was member of the Theosophy society and was close to the Ordo Templi Orientis (OTO).
          He died 14 September 1945, Munich.
