David Kal?kaua Kaw?nanakoa's Biography
Hawaiian royalty, also known as Prince Koke, he was a member of the House of Kaw?nanakoa and the only son of Prince David Kaw?nanakoa and Princess Abigail Campbell Kaw?nanakoa.
David Kaw?nanakoa married three times. He also entered a common-law marriage with Arvilla Kinslea. On 24 October 1937, after a wild party, Kinslea was found dead and stabbed in the neck with a broken piece of crockery. Four years before, Kaw?nanakoa had received a suspended sentence for killing a woman due to his reckless driving. He confessed to the murder of Kinslea and was sentenced to several years in prison.
Kaw?nanakoa died of a heart attack at Honolulu on 20 May 1953 at the age of 49. He died without children. The Kaw?nanakoa family survives through the descendants of his sisters.
