          Christina E. Nolan's Biography

          American attorney who has served as the United States Attorney for the U.S. District Court for the District of Vermont since 27 November 2017. She is the first woman to serve in this position.
          Prior to assuming her current role, she was an Assistant United States Attorney in the District of Vermont, where she prosecuted a variety of criminal cases, including complex drug trafficking offenses, money laundering, firearms offenses, violent crime, and crimes against children.
          Nolan previously served as an Assistant District Attorney in Middlesex County, Massachusetts. From 2005 to 2009, Nolan worked as a litigation associate at Goodwin Procter, where she concentrated her practice in white collar criminal defense. She clerked for F. Dennis Saylor IV of the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts. Nolan was recommended for the position of U.S. Attorney by U.S. Senator Patrick Leahy and Vermont Governor Phil Scott.
