          American dancer, first professional performance 1951.
          Charles had one sister. When he was 14, his folks separated and he was 16 when his mom remarried. He studied ceramics, art, dance, and through his lifetime, metaphysics. He was a top student at high school until he lost interest. At college, he was a steady B-student.
          He began working in dance theater in 1956 for five years. Along with many activities, he learned to work on sets, costumes, design, whatever needed to be done. He bought a car and was taking more responsibility. He danced in a musical show. In 1961, he ended a love affair and moved into his own apartment. On 6/25/1963, 8:15 PM, he left New York for Europe. He reached Beirut on July 13th and fell in love with the area. He took a two-week trip to Hawaii on 8/23/1965.
          By 1965, Charles was catering weddings, taking care of the food, flowers, design – the whole thing. He moved into the catering field in 1965. He handled his money shrewdly with property investment on the purchase of two houses.
          Homosexual. he died of AIDS 9/23/87.
