Canadian financial analyst, newsletter publisher and editor, geologist and reporter who wrote seven books. These include The Coming Deflation: Its Dangers–and Opportunities (1976), Money and Energy: Weathering the Storm (1980), World Rollover: An Economic Portrait of the World (1985) and Investment Strategies from the Quiet Corner (1992). He also published the memoir Fifty Years in the Furnace: The Autobiography of a Nonconformist in 1989.
Altogether he served two years in prison for tax evasion despite escaping twice.
C. V. Myers had five children. He died from cancer and heart disease on 23 February 1990 at age 77 in Loma Linda, California.
