          Bucky Walters's Biography

          American Major League Baseball (MLB) All-Star pitcher and the 1939 National League MVP. Walters played for the Boston Braves (1931–1932, 1950), Boston Red Sox (1933–1934), Philadelphia Phillies (1934–1938) and Cincinnati Reds (1938–1948). He batted and threw right-handed.
          He was inducted into the Cincinnati Reds Hall of Fame in 1958. Bucky Walters died in Abington, Pennsylvania, just one day after his 82nd birthday.
