American contestant on a TV game show called Big Brother, a show set in “real time.” It is not scripted and is not intended for younger audiences as the language and situations have the spontaneity of real life. Ten young adults, strangers to each other, were selected to live for three months in a closed environment in order to observe their interaction, entering their Big Brother house on 4 July 2000.
Brittany was at the time a 25-year-old Sales Rep, 5′ 3″, 132 lbs. She quit her job to participate in Big Brother. She is a fan of skateboarding, snowboarding and mountain biking, along with swing dancing, all of which keeps her in top shape. She soon became known to Big Brother fans as the perky virgin with violently pink hair. Though she was voted the Most Popular of the B.B. team by an Internet vote in August 2000, she was voted off the show by public vote.
After the Big Brother experience, she started acting classes and signed with the William Morris Agency. Starting in 2003 she has had a recurring guest role in the long-running soap opera Days of Our Lives, playing character Denise. She’s also had guest appearances on Suspect: True Crime Stories in 2002, and Dead Last. Movies she’s done include I-See-You.Com (2005), Screech of the Decapitated (2004), and Zombie Rights! (2003). Brittany has worked as a casting director for TV and film. She did casting work for The Lyon’s Den (as an intern), Switched!, Suspect, Dismissed, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation (as an intern) and also worked on The New Normal, and The Goodwin Games.
