French publicity director and business executive. A reporter, 1950-1954, he became publicity director at Air-France, 1954-1959, and President and founder of the Bernard Krief Consultants Group from where he handled advertising campaigns for IBM, Michelin, Nestlé, Sony and other noted companies. Krief was the author of a number of books on marketing strategy, commercial enterprise and a biography of De Gaulle in 1995.
He married on 11/30/1965 and later divorced; one daughter. He made a second marriage on 10/01/1988; one daughter.
Krief died on 6/27/1996 in a fire that broke in his apartment, Paris.
