Auberon “Bron” Waugh's Human Design Chart

1/3 Self Projected Projector

English writer, journalist and satirist and noted family. The second child and first son of author Evelyn Waugh and wife Laura, he was commissioned into the Royal Horse Guards for his military service and severely wounded while stationed in Cyprus. When a machine gun seemed not to be working, he hoisted it up and shook it. The gun fired into his chest, causing the loss of a
lung, spleen, several ribs, and a finger. He wrote his first novel while recuperating in Italy, “The Foxglove Saga,” published in 1960. After he was recovered enough to work, he began writing for the Telegraph, became a political columnist for The Spectator and wrote for several other newspapers and magazines. His column “Private Eye,” a diary which ran from the early ’70s until 1985, “specifically dedicated to telling lies” brought him much attention. From 1990 until December 2000 he wrote for the Telegraph. In 1990 he published his autobiography “Will This Do?”
Waugh stood for election to Parliament in 1979 using satire to undo his opponent but won very few votes for himself.
In 1961 he married, Lady Teresa Onslow, and they had four children, two sons and two daughters. Other novels include Path of Dalliance (1963), Who Are The Violets Now? (1965), Consider the Lilies (1968) and A Bed of Flowers (1972). From 1986 until his death he also edited the Literary Review magazine.
He died on January 16, 2001 “at night” in Somerset England.
