          Anton Koolhaas's Biography

          Dutch journalist, novelist, and scenario writer.
          He wrote his first play at the age of seven. He attended the hogere burgerschool in Utrecht. Between 1931 and 1935 he attended Utrecht University, studying an individual program related to journalism.
          He wrote the scenario of the Academy Award-nominated films Everyman (1963) and Ape and Super-Ape (1972), both directed by Bert Haanstra.
          He is the father of architect Rem Koolhaas (1944).
          He won the Constantijn Huygens Prize for his complete works in 1989 and the P. C. Hooft Award, a literary oeuvre award, in 1992.
          He died on 16 December 1992, age 80, in Amsterdam, Netherlands.
