          Andrew Rhoades's Biography

American accidental death, this young man took a fatal leap from one roof to another of a nearby buiding on 26 November 2005 sometime just after 8 AM EST in Brighton, Massachusetts.
Each year on Thanksgiving weekend, he and his friends would trek into Boston for a reunion. On that fateful day, he telephoned a friend at 8 AM and left a frightening message. “I’m up on the roof.” I’m about to make this incredible jump, but I don’t know if I can make it.” A few hours later, at 12:14 PM EST, a passerby discovered Rhoades’s body lying between two apartment buildings about three stories high in Brighton’s Oak Square. The space between the buildings spanned about 20 feet. The high school track star and college graduate wanted a career in broadcasting and was working at Videolink, a broadcast production and transmission company. “He thought he was Superman,” his father said, commenting on his son’s dream of being a participant on TV’s reality show “Fear Factor.” Andrew’s girlfriend described him as “athletic and brave,” a thrill-seeker.
