          Amy Pietz's Biography

American actress best known as the neighbor on the television show, “Caroline in the City.” Energetic and funny, Pietz later starred in the NBC sitcom, “Cursed.”
As a child, Pietz trained to become a ballet dancer, but hard financial times for her family ended her dream. After being cast as the lead in the 7th grade play, “Oliver,” she decided to pursue an acting career, and she went on to graduate from the Milwaukee High School of the Arts. In 1991, she received a B.F.A. degree in acting from DePaul University in Chicago. Her first professional role was in “A View From the Bridge,” and she spent two years in Chicago where she helped co-found the Eclipse Theatre Company. In 1994, she moved to Los Angeles where she landed various television roles before making her feature film debut in “Jingle All the Way,” with Arnold Schwarzenegger.
Pietz married a fellow actor, Kenny Williams, in May 1997. She is as direct and no-nonsense as the characters she plays, and in her spare time, she enjoys golfing and skiing.
