Norwegian shipowner. She is the daughter of sailor and shipowner Kristoffer Olsen sr., founder of the Olsen & Ugelstad shipping company. In 1956 she married businessman and aircraft broker Einar Riis.
In the 1970s Amelia and her husband became embroiled in a long civil case regarding an inheritance dispute between her and her brother. In 2001 the Oslo District Court awarded Riis 10 million Norwegian krone (approx. $1 mill.), the largest indemnity of this kind ever granted in Norway.
